Our heuristic evaluation revealed that existing payment experiences relied heavily on cluttered screens, unclear actions, and inconsistent interaction patterns. Dedicated POS machines added operational overhead, while many mobile payment apps lacked visibility, feedback, and intuitive navigation. These usability gaps slowed transactions, increased user hesitation, and reduced confidence during real-time payment interactions.
We designed a focused Android NFC payment experience guided by heuristic usability principles and simplified flows. The interface prioritizes visibility, faster recognition, clear payment feedback, and minimal cognitive load throughout the payment journey. By reducing unnecessary steps and improving consistency, the experience enables merchants to complete payments faster with greater confidence and ease.
After redesigning the NFC payment experience, the platform helped merchants complete transactions more efficiently with fewer usability issues and faster interaction flows.
